Privacy policy
RidgePro AI is an independent digital studio, based in Chicagoland. This policy explains what we collect through ridgeproai.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. If anything here is unclear, email hello@ridgeproai.com.
What we collect
When you send a project inquiry, we receive what you enter in the form:
- your project answers: the type of website, what it should help your customers do, your business name and type, where it is based (if you choose to say), your current website, budget, timing and any notes;
- your contact details: your name, email address and, if you choose to give it, your phone number;
- if you used Find the Opportunity, the three answers you chose there;
- the page you sent the form from, and the date and time;
- how you found this website: the name of the site that sent you here (for example google.com, never the full address you came from), any campaign or RidgePro AI tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source or ref), the first page you visited here, and the page you opened the form from.
How you found us is used only to understand which pages and links bring in inquiries. It is not included in the confirmation email we send you.
To limit abuse, we check how many inquiries arrive from the same connection. For that check we use a one-way scrambled version of your IP address that expires after an hour. We do not store your IP address with your inquiry.
Measuring how the website is used
We measure visits in aggregate, without cookies, to learn which pages are useful:
- Vercel Web Analytics counts page views, the page a visit starts on, the referring site, and the general type of device, browser and country. It does not use cookies and is not used to identify you.
- We also keep a few anonymous daily totals: how many times Find the Opportunity was started and showed a result (and whether it suggested a Signature or Interactive Website), how many times each Concept Study was opened, and how many times the project form was opened, started and sent (and whether that visit came through Find the Opportunity or a Concept Study). These totals contain no identifier, no IP address and nothing you typed. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we don’t count them.
What we don’t do
- We don’t use cookies, advertising pixels, cross-site tracking or fingerprinting, and we don’t build profiles of visitors. If that changes, this policy will change first.
- We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t add you to marketing lists.
Information kept in your browser
Your motion preference (Auto, Full or Reduced) is remembered in your browser. Your Find the Opportunity answers and an unsent draft of the inquiry form are kept for the current browser tab only, so you don’t have to repeat yourself. How you found this website (described above) is kept the same way. All of it is deleted when you close the tab and is never sent to us unless you submit the form.
How we use it
Only to reply to your inquiry, to talk with you about your project, to prepare a quote, and, if you hire us, to deliver and support your project.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of service providers, and only for the purposes above:
- Vercel hosts this website, runs the code that receives your inquiry, and provides the cookieless visit measurement described above;
- Resend delivers the inquiry to us and the confirmation to you by email;
- Upstash keeps a secure backup record of each inquiry, so none is lost if email is delayed, and the anonymous daily totals;
- Zoho hosts our email inbox, where inquiries and your replies are received.
Information sent through this website travels encrypted (HTTPS), and access to inquiries is limited to RidgePro AI.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for up to two years, then delete them. The anonymous daily totals are kept for about 13 months. If you become a client, we keep what the project needs for as long as the work and our records require. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing hello@ridgeproai.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.
Children
This website is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
